Whilst everyone is rushing around trying to run last minute errands in time for the holidays, I do not feel there is a massive festive mood. Besides the recent political events masking over Hong Kong, there is also the recent coronavirus that seems to be spreading quickly and getting everyone worried. My cousin just told me that he does not want to join our new year lunch, as he is avoiding all restaurants (public places). At a mall at Causeway Bay today, about 80% of people are wearing masks.<\/span><\/p><p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Whilst it is important to be vigilant, we also should not panic. As long as we practise good personal hygiene and stay healthy, we can continue to live our regular lives.\u00a0<\/span><\/p><p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">I want to share with you my routine for keeping my immune system strong. I don\u2019t say this lightly, as I was once at a point when I basically had no ability to fight any disease, and so keeping my immune system strong has somewhat become a mission of mine ever since. I have been practicing this routine daily for about 5 years now, and I do find that I don\u2019t really get sick much. It will take time, but I promise you it works, as long as you stick with it.<\/span><\/p><p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">These are the daily supplements that I take for general health. Dosages can be varied based on person and symptoms, condition etc. Do consult your doctor\/nutritionist before you start.\u00a0<\/span><\/p><p><b>Morning routine (after meal)<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">:<\/span><\/p><ul><li><b>1000mg MSM<\/b><\/li><li><b>130mg Magnesium glycinate<\/b><\/li><li><b>1000mg ester C \/ buffered C<\/b><\/li><li><b>1 probiotic<\/b><\/li><\/ul><p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Please note that the vitamin C should be taken about 2 hours apart from the MSM and not together, as the C turns the MSM rancid. However, it is a good \u201ccombo\u201d for absorption purposes.\u00a0<\/span><\/p><p><b>Evening routine (after meal):<\/b><\/p><ul><li><b>1000mg MSM<\/b><\/li><li><b>130mg Magnesium glycinate<\/b><\/li><li><b>30-50mg zinc<\/b><\/li><\/ul><p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">If you feel that you are coming down with flu, you can increase the dosage of MSM, magnesium and zinc. You can double the MSM and magnesium, and increase zinc up to 150mg a day till you are better.\u00a0<\/span><\/p><p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Besides oral supplements, I also apply magnesium (chloride) and MSM onto my skin after shower.
