Some days we\u2019re pinching ourselves <\/span><span class=\"s1\">to see if the beauty around us is real, and some days everything feels like it\u2019s falling <\/span><span class=\"s1\">apart. It\u2019s easy to accept when things are good, however when things seem not-so-<\/span><span class=\"s1\">great, do you allow yourself to acknowledge that without judging or needing to fix it?<\/span><\/p><p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\">Most of us have an unconscious tendency to judge ourselves when we feel sad or <\/span><span class=\"s1\">frustrated. We tell ourselves that we shouldn\u2019t feel anything that isn\u2019t \u2018good\u2019, and <\/span><span class=\"s1\">moreover when someone else says they are feeling down we say things like \u201cdon\u2019t feel <\/span><span class=\"s1\">like that\u201d! Have you ever stopped feeling down because someone has said \u201cdon\u2019t feel <\/span><span class=\"s1\">it\u201d? The feeling doesn\u2019t go away. In fact, it makes you feel something else on top of <\/span><span class=\"s1\">down \u2013 now you are down plus guilty for not being okay, or down plus angry at them for <\/span><span class=\"s1\">judging you. <\/span><\/p><p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\">In this sense, judging yourself for feeling upset is just going to add another <\/span><span class=\"s1\">layer to the upset, and this package gets stored in your subconscious mind and body. <\/span><span class=\"s1\">I am not suggesting to indulge your story that\u2019s making you feel like a victim so you feel<\/span><\/p><p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\">more righteous about it.
