Everyone in Hong Kong (and the world) are focused on keeping themselves healthy. I am also trying to provide more ways and information to help you achieve that. It is paramount that we continue to work on building our own immune system so that we can stay disease free!
If you recall from my previous blogs, juicing, in my experience, is a very direct and effective way to absorb nutrients. In my recipes, I mainly use vegetables, but will also add fruits to make them taste good!
I will be sharing 3 different recipes this time, all focusing on immunity boost, as ingredient availability may vary. You can also use these as a base and throw in other things – use your imagination!
All recipes make 2 servings (16-20 ounces juice)
The C Blast
This one is great if you feel you are just starting to come down with the sniffles.
The C Bomb
Besides the C, this is also good for lowering cholesterol and preventing high blood pressure.
Morning C Elixir
This is a great morning wake up drink, but can also be enjoyed throughout the day.
If you have other nutritious goodies you want to add into your drink, like flax seeds (grounded), chia seeds, camu camu powder, turmeric powder, spirulina powder and so on – GO GO GO!
A final point of reminder, when we get sick, it is ultimately our own immune system that can get us back onto our feet, so plant these little steps into your daily routines for a healthier you!
